The friction problem
An agency time tracker that never blocks START
Required fields at start produce Friday spreadsheets. When a tracker blocks the start button, people stop pressing it and reconstruct the week from memory. Tickr gives you frictionless time entry at START and non-blocking time tracking while you work, then asks for the required fields at the moment the work is done.

3 required fields are empty. Fill them in before the timer can start.

Traditional trackers: required fields block START
01Open the tracker. Pick client, project, task from required drop-downs.
02Skip it because the call already started.
03Rebuild the week in a spreadsheet on Friday afternoon.

Result: hours logged from memory, days after the work. Billable time goes missing.
Interactive demo: START runs the clock immediately with no fields. STOP opens a drawer that requires workspace, project, and billable status before saving.

Enter your team size, billable rate, and the hours each person fails to log per week. The calculator shows the revenue those hours would have billed.

Instant capture, non-blocking start
START runs the clock before the work has a name: an instant timer start with nothing to fill in. Stop-time field enforcement makes project, task, and billability required only when you press STOP. An entry cannot be saved incomplete.
What it saves
The minutes lost to setup before every task, and the entries never started because setup took too long.

Workspace data isolation
Each workspace is a hard data boundary. Clients, projects, entries, reports, and exports are scoped to one workspace. Nothing is shared across the line.
What it saves
Cross-client mistakes on invoices, and the manual checks you run to prevent them.

What it saves
Three clicks and a page load per correction. Weekly reviews take minutes.

Customizable time tracker terminology
Rename Client, Project, and Task company-wide. Change them to Customer, Job, and Activity, or whatever your contracts say. Every screen, report, and export uses your terms.
What it saves
Translating tool language into your billing language on every invoice.

Export time logs to CSV, Excel, and PDF: no lock-in time tracking
An agency timesheet export contains exactly the rows your active filters show, with every column unfiltered. Your data leaves in a format any tool can read. Zero lock-in.
What it saves
Re-filtering in a spreadsheet after export, and the risk of being stuck with one vendor.
Architecture & roles
Multi-workspace data isolation and security
One account, a different role in every workspace. This is role-based time tracking, with roles assigned per workspace, not per person. Tickr is a multi-tenant time tracker: each workspace is its own tenant, so client data separation is built in. A contractor can be an Admin for one client and a Team Member for another under the same login.

Pricing
Simple, transparent pricing for growing agencies
Tickr is free: every feature of the billable hours tracker, for every user. No credit card, no trial clock. Paid plans will come later, and we will tell you before anything changes.
Yes. You can export filtered entries to CSV, Excel, and PDF anytime. Your data belongs to you.
How does Tickr handle teams working across multiple clients or brands?
Tickr uses workspace isolation with per-workspace roles. You can be an Admin in one workspace and a Team Member in another under a single account, keeping time and clients strictly separated.
Why do agencies and software studios choose Tickr as a Toggl, Clockify or Harvest alternative?
Agencies usually switch for three reasons: workspace data isolation, so each client group or brand keeps its own clients, rules, and reports; required fields enforced on STOP instead of START, so billable hours are complete without slowing anyone down; and no lock-in, with time logs exportable to CSV, Excel, and PDF at any time. Tickr is also free for every team.
How does Tickr prevent forgotten timers?
The running timer stays visible across browser tabs—the tab icon turns red with a live clock in the title. Your profile chip in the top bar also displays an active status light with an elapsed time counter.
What happens if someone forgets to categorize their work on START?
Tickr allows users to start a timer instantly with zero fields filled. Required details (Project, Task, Description, Tag) are enforced when they press STOP, so your reports stay 100% complete without slowing down entry.
Can we rename Client / Project / Task to match our agency's terminology?
Yes. Workspace Admins can rename Client/Project/Task to Customer/Job/Activity (or custom terms), and every screen, menu, and report automatically updates company-wide.
